Truck Belly Dumps
Trucks enter the coal yard and are directed to the truck dump lanes located on top of the hopper. Traffic lights at the entrance to each lane indicate where and when to dump. Laser sensors located both on the truck lanes and the hopper will give the inputs to the control logic. Trucks will cross the bridge at a fixed speed and activate their dump gates immediately when receiving the green light. They will continue driving at the fixed speed while dumping. The truck lanes are bordered on each side by banks of TRC FP nozzles strategically located to spray the full length of the bridges . When the Raring Corp ADSTM Dry Fog is called for, the nozzles on either side of the dump lane are engaged and project TRC ADSTM Dry Fog downward into the hopper. When the material starts falling down from the bottom of the trucks either while they are moving through the bridge or stopped on top of it, TRC ADSTM Dry fog must be sprayed at the right time and during the correct period of time to accomplish the dust control target.
